Its the weekend! I wore this outfit to a boutique opening here this past week.  It really was a last

minute decision.  I have had this top for quite awhile and this was my first time wearing it!

I had and entire post dedicated to this top as well, sad I know lol.

I decided to try something different and rock this baby backwards, with the exposed zipper in the

front.

OOTD & Review: Riot Boutique

Its almost the weekend, too bad I have to work ugh!  Any who this past Sunday one of my friends turned 29 and we (Shayla & I) decided to take her to brunch at a nice restaurant.  Cafe 615 is located in downtown Mobile and offers a lovely atmosphere and the food was awesome too!  On Sundays they have a "make your own" mimosa and bloody Mary bar.  They also give out samples of their homemade bread pudding! OMG that bread pudding was so good!

Since it was Sunday and we were going to brunch, I wanted to be comfortable yet stylish...

Riot Boutique is owned by the stylish Jenae Jones!  Her pieces are trendy, eclectic and fun! 

 She has styled many in  the entertainment and fashion business, such as Macy Gray and

rapper Lola Monroe.

 

Her site fierceriot.com offers tons of handmade pieces as well as purses and sunglasses! 

Her prices range are very inexpensive and budget friendly!

 

 

 

 

 I was sent these hand made black & gold earrings and spider ring.  The earrings were definitely a hit!

I got tons of compliments on them as well as people (Shayla & my sister) trying to steal them out of my ears. 

 I normally don't wear rings because my fingers are fat lol.  It is usually hard for me to find rings in my size. 

 What I liked about this ring was the expandable band as well as the design.  The actually size of the spider is

almost the size of a fifty cent piece.  It can be worn with a LBD  as a statement piece on its own!

MIA

I know I have been Missing in Action and neglecting my blog lately.   I will start doing better and explain it all in due time.  I have been trying to work out a schedule to stick with for posting on my blog seeing as I have other projects and sites I contribute to.  I promise to post at least one outfit look a week or at least a haul or review just to keep my blog alive lol.  This don't have ish to do with ish but lately I have been jamming to Rhianna new LP Unapologetic! If I say so myself she did that some of my favorite songs are Pour It Up, Nobody Business feat. Chris Brown, Love Song feat. Future and Numb feat. Eminem, just to name a few.

Enough small talk get into this OOTD...

I have been trying to shop my closet here lately and I came of with this look.

I have over 8 of these skirts with tags on them, smh!  I guess I have found a way to
incorporate them into my fall/winter wardrobe.

Most Torrid boots have the zipper on the inside.  For some reason these were constructed with
zipper in the back.  I like it though lol.

Like most Torrid knee boots, they have elastic added to allow the boots to come up
wide calves.  This allows for comfort ability and ease of wear.

ATL Shawty

Good Morning! I just wanted to stop in with a quick post of one of my looks from this past weekend. This weekend I ventured out to Montgomery, AL and Atlanta, GA with my cousins. We started our weekend off by supporting my cousin in her photo shoot for her up and coming modeling company. After the shoot we left for Atlanta where we enjoyed plenty of good food and "entertainment" lol. Overall I had a great time and cant wait to go back in a few months!

Casual Attractions: Cool Blue

Finally, a new post for the "Casual Attraction" section!  I wore this fit' the other day to run errands and have lunch with my pudd Shayla.  I got a lot of compliments on these jeans from both young and old lol.  An older lady told me, "baby those jeans are hanging on you"!  Yes gawd they were lol. 

I love colored denim they can add a pop of color to any outfit as well as be the focal point.  Along with that, they can be dressed up or down.  I decided to dress mine down since I was just wanted to run some errands.  I would dress them up by changing the boot to a pump and changing my belt choice (thats BJ's belt, I couldnt find mine lol).

-I did not review this product because my hair is currently straightened.  I do however plan on using it in the near future and will review it then.

-I did not review this product based on the warning label

 

Goody Simply Styles Spin Pin $7.29

-Allows you to easily achieve three chic updo styles: undone bun, side bun, or double bun!

-I did not review this product for the same reasons I gave for the first mention product.  I do plan on trying it and will review it as well.

 

Bath & Body Works Mini Candles $3.50

-Mini but Mighty!  It provides an amazing fragrance experience!

-I love anything that smells good and I'm a avid shopper of Bath & Body Works! I actually love these mini candles because they are budget friendly, so I'm able to purchase a few different fragrances in one purchase.  I was sent the White Barn Nutmeg and Spice Mini Candle! It smelled so nice like Thanksgiving and Christmas pies!

 

NYC New York Color Individual Eyes Custom Compact $4.99

-This all-in-one compact comes with everything you need for a complete eye look.

-This was my first product from NYC and it was actually a good product.  After following the handy dandy direction on back of the compact I was left with a fierce grey smoky eye (sorry no pictures).  I would definitely recommend this compact for out-of-town trips since it is equipped with everything you need to create a quick I look.

 

Kiss Ever Pro Lashes Starter Kit $ 5.99

***My Favorite Product in the box!***

-This eyelash starter kit comes complete with eyelashes, adhesive, and applicator.

-I love this product!  I have been wanting for years to try putting on my own eyelashes!  I was extremely nervous about trying the product because I didn't want to glue my eye shut.  To my surprise the application was quite easy and simple. The pink applicator tool allowed me to place the lashes directly on my lash line and the glue dried immediately. The glue did not irritate my eyes and they lasted for a good 8 hours (the latex glue has a 24-hour hold) before I took them off.  The removal process was easy, I just pulled them off being careful not to pull my own natural lashes.  I was so hooked that I went and purchased more lashes to play around with.  I would definitely recommend this product for beginners like myself!

Inspired

This look was inspired by Alicia Keys during her performance on BET's Black Girls Rock!  From the moment I say her come on stage I knew I had to recreate this look.  The first thing to pop in my head was a pair of tuxedo pants that I purchased from Dorothy Perkins last year sometime.  The rest of the outfit just fell in place, vest check and killa shoe check check!

We decided to try the conecuh sausage pizza!  If you aren't from the south then you probably don't know what a Conecuh Sausage is but it is only the best sausage in the world!  Its actually produced in Conecuh, Alabama!  In the south we pretty much use it in dishes such as jambalaya, red beans and rices or for breakfast with grits!  Now its a pizza topping, gotta love the south!

House Party!

I know y'all jammin now lol.  I went to a house party for one of BJ's cousin.  The party was to celebrate her 30th birthday!  I had a nice time overall laughing at the drunk people dance and BJ being on eggshells around his ex girlfriends! Yes, plural ex girlfriends it was at least 3 of them there lol.  Here is what I wore and I know I usually give y'all umpteen pictures but my camera was trippin! BJ took 2 pictures of me and quit lol.


I will be doing a natural hair update soon.  Speaking of hair it was so hot OMG, my hair was in a ponytail before we left!

Blush or Bronzer? I love blush! I have chubby cheeks so I love enhancing them with color.

Lipgloss or Lipstick?  This a hard one! I love them both equally.

Chapstick or Lip Butter? Is lip balm the same as lip butter? I have this MAC lip butter that I love but I also like my EOS chapstick.

Matte or Sparkle Eye Shadow?  If I had to choose it would be matte, I love the old hollywood glam of a matte finish.

OOTN: Adult Skate Night

Hey yall!!! Ive missed you guys lol I know it hasn't been that long since I did a post but I was starting to feel as if I was getting boxed in.  I'm over that now though after talking with JuicyCarter and my L4L sistas, I realize I'm headed in the right direction!  I'm so excited with all of the things blogging has blessed me to do i.e. networking and writing post for other established sites and drumroll please officially modeling for a online boutique!!!

Ok so let me tell me about my experience at adult skate night lol.  I had heard about it but I wanted to experience it for myself. It was just what I expected, little skating going on and people standing around sightseeing lol.  I went with my cousin Bianca who turned the big three oh but she didn't want to skate lol.  Though people weren't skating forreal I still enjoyed myself and I love when a DJ keeps the party dancing.  Speaking of partying, I finally got to see my boo WALE in concert! Yes!!!! If you get a chance to see him in concert do yourself a favor and go! He is very entertaining, sexy, handsome, and  he could get it *in my Beyonce voice* lol.

Ok here is what I wore to the skating rink.  I felt so under dressed seeing as people were dressed for the club smh.  I was still cute and turning heads, BOW (so ratchet at times lol).
