Taking Bets

I promised an OOTD and im not one to break a promise! Simplicity is my go to look nowadays especially since i have a busy toddler and one on the way! Thats right we are expecting another bundle of joy (i hope its a bouncing baby boy lol) BJ is taking bets and its some big money on the table! Only three people in the entire family say its a boy (me,BJ & his uncle) everyone else is #teamgirl (ugh). Here is one of my go to looks...

Spring Vox Box

Hi Guys!
I know it has been an extremely long time since ive done a post but i promise ill try to do better. I just wanted to stop by and do a quick post on my spring vox box i received from influenster! This box contained some awesome things and ill do a more thorough review on some of my fave items below. So far my favorite items are the Rimmel London Mascara, Nivea skin firming lotion and the Soft Lips Lip Cube. Some of the other products i wont be able to use such as the playtex and kiss nails but i will try to utilize them later.

Rimmel London Glam Mascara

The formula is very smooth and easy to apply! I normally go for a small applicator but the big one works great. Not only is it easy to apply there are no clumps with this mascara. The only con for me is that you would have to apply a few coats for a more dramactic look. (Only one coat applied in the pic)

Soft Lips Pomegranate Blueberry lip balm smells delicious! The formula is not to greasy but it does leave your lips feeling silky smooth.

Nivea Skin Firming Hydration body lotion is prefect for those hot summer days. It is not to heavy or oily but it leaves your skin feeling very moisturized. It also smells awesome!

It's ya Birthday!

It's ya Birthday... it's ya birthday! The fact that my auntie made her grand entrance to this 2 chainz song for her birthday gave me life! Yasss auntie lol. If you don't know by now I attended my Aunt Jackie's 50th birthday party this weekend!  I really enjoyed myself! Ain't nothing wrong with partying with family! The "turnup" has no age limit lol!

Happy Thanksgiving

Trenched

Hey guys!!! I know its been awhile but being a new mommy takes up a lot of my time. Being a mommy is well worth it and I wouldnt trade it for nothing! Anywho with that being said I rarely put clothes on or take pics for that matter lol. Last nite was different though, I went on a movie date and took the chance to dress up! Most of the pieces were inspired by some of my fave vloggers and bloggers.

The trench coat was inspired by Garnerstyle recent trench coat post!

All I See is Signs

Hey guys! Its been along time! For those that dont know, I had my son on March 30th. I was six months pregnant. Barry was born weighing 1 lb 3.2 oz and he is now 3 months old weighing 4lb 7.2oz.  He is doing well even though we had a few setbacks. Hopefully he will come home at the end of the month.
Ok now that we are caught up I have an OOTD for yall! * inserts screams* I shopped my closet and came up with this casual look. Its definetly a cool and comfortable look to chill and pig out in lol!

Product Review: Parnevu Organic Hair Mayonnaise

I was sent this product to review a couple of months ago.  I was definitely in the process of looking for a deep conditioner for my natural hair.  If you are natural, you know it takes a process of trial and error before you find products that work for your hair.  One of the golden rules for naturals is "Everything that works for others wont work for you!", that is especially true for my hair.

I was sent the full size 16 oz. container to review and I was able to get an ample amount of uses of the Organic Hair Mayonnaise!  I applied it to freshly washed hair and in 4 sections.  Once it was applied I let it sit for about 20-30 minutes with a towel bonnet to added for heat source.

 

 

The Hair Mayonnaise left my hair extremely moisturized and provide good slip for detangling.  After rinsing it out I placed my hair in two strand twist sealing the moisture in with coconut oil.

 

Though I am still on the hunt for a perfect deep conditioner I will still purchase this product to have as a back up plan.  It is vital that all naturals deep conditioner their hair at least twice a month.

Its the weekend! I wore this outfit to a boutique opening here this past week.  It really was a last

minute decision.  I have had this top for quite awhile and this was my first time wearing it!

I had and entire post dedicated to this top as well, sad I know lol.

OOTD & Review: Riot Boutique

Its almost the weekend, too bad I have to work ugh!  Any who this past Sunday one of my friends turned 29 and we (Shayla & I) decided to take her to brunch at a nice restaurant.  Cafe 615 is located in downtown Mobile and offers a lovely atmosphere and the food was awesome too!  On Sundays they have a "make your own" mimosa and bloody Mary bar.  They also give out samples of their homemade bread pudding! OMG that bread pudding was so good!

Since it was Sunday and we were going to brunch, I wanted to be comfortable yet stylish...

 I was sent these hand made black & gold earrings and spider ring.  The earrings were definitely a hit!

I got tons of compliments on them as well as people (Shayla & my sister) trying to steal them out of my ears. 

 I normally don't wear rings because my fingers are fat lol.  It is usually hard for me to find rings in my size. 

 What I liked about this ring was the expandable band as well as the design.  The actually size of the spider is

almost the size of a fifty cent piece.  It can be worn with a LBD  as a statement piece on its own!

MIA

I know I have been Missing in Action and neglecting my blog lately.   I will start doing better and explain it all in due time.  I have been trying to work out a schedule to stick with for posting on my blog seeing as I have other projects and sites I contribute to.  I promise to post at least one outfit look a week or at least a haul or review just to keep my blog alive lol.  This don't have ish to do with ish but lately I have been jamming to Rhianna new LP Unapologetic! If I say so myself she did that some of my favorite songs are Pour It Up, Nobody Business feat. Chris Brown, Love Song feat. Future and Numb feat. Eminem, just to name a few.

Enough small talk get into this OOTD...

I have been trying to shop my closet here lately and I came of with this look.

I have over 8 of these skirts with tags on them, smh!  I guess I have found a way to
incorporate them into my fall/winter wardrobe.

Most Torrid boots have the zipper on the inside.  For some reason these were constructed with
zipper in the back.  I like it though lol.

Like most Torrid knee boots, they have elastic added to allow the boots to come up
wide calves.  This allows for comfort ability and ease of wear.
